She is portrayed riding on the head of her elderly father Nereus with whom she dwells at the bottom of the Aegean Sea. She is the patron of sailors and fishermen, coming to their aid when they are in distress This piece was created for a challenge from the Creative doll artists club to "create a Wendy Froud look-alike"
